Do I Look Like a Slut?

With their penchant for mini skirts, boob revealing tops and bare flesh wrapped in masking tape, former Miami college debs Debbie and Daphne certainly have a sense of the salacious, and on their already massively popular club anthem Do I Look Like a Slut? also know a thing or two about rap.

"You know, I don't understand why everyone keeps calling us sluts," Debbie D queries on her first line, opening the door for memorable phrases like 'I'm not a fucking slut, you fucking cocksucker, your Mom's the one letting everyone fuck her," and 'don't worry, he's just a fag anyway' (on Mikey, who called Debbie a slut).

Underlying the girls' sex obsessed raps is an old skool hip hop beat that makes the track both fantastically dance floor friendly and ridiculously catchy, two reasons why it remained one of the biggest tracks at Nag, Nag, Nag for the whole of last year. And one Nag regular who noticed was Boy George, who not only put the girls up at his house last summer but has now signed the track to his own label Electric Blue. The new release comes with two new remixes, the Supalaska Retouch and Smokescreen Remix, but it's Larry Tee's fantastic original that remains the defining choice (Larry's the man who laid down the Salt N Pepa style Push It beat, that's made the track already so popular).

Sleazy, slutty and hilariously fine, Slut is a top quality electro-disco-punk party record that screams to be heard. Shut up.
