So says Underwater label manager Matt Stuart, on the marketing strategy for Tim Deluxe's latest remix of his Icelandic labelmate's 2003 hit David and his confidence appears well justified, given the popularity of the original plus Deluxe's proven ability to add his distinctive dirty house touch.
Catchy, funky and blessed with hooky keyboard riff and proper melodic lyrics, the new mix fits seamlessly into the Underwater vibe that Darren Emerson's perfected so well since setting up the label 4 years ago, being catchy but also firmly aimed at the dance floor. David is out now.
