Robbie Rivera's new single Insanity is one of those here today, gone tomorrow novelty house records that's simultaneously, catchy, instant and infectiously memorable. Built around a solid almost French Kiss style musical base, the track's distinguished by its upbeat female 'slightly possessed' vocal, which takes a light hearted look at the road to madness.

Including lines like 'I woke up and everything seemed strange, the sky was burgundy, I felt deranged', and 'My friends had left me all alone, just me, my head and my mobile phone', the release is certain to strike chords with all chemically enhanced clubbers, as will its obvious though effective breakdown, a take-no-prisoners dance floor moment in the making.

Presumably aimed at the Ibiza market, Insanity, is out on August 11 on Rivera's own label Juicy Music. The American DJ also headlines Erick Morillo's Subliminal night at Pacha shortly, spinning at the Ibiza Town mega-club on July 30.
