Broadly sitting inside the genre marked 'electro' FC Kahuna's Another Fine Mess is an after hours themed collection that finds room to include Josh Wink, Nightmares On Wax and Blur within its 18 tracks.

Leeds duo Dan and Jon made their names through the over-hyped rock/ dance fusion of the late 90s, though failed to cash in as the likes of Fatboy Slim crossed the genre over to the world's mainstream markets. However, by distancing themselves from the genre before its rapid descent, the pair avoided inevitable backlash contamination while at the same time establishing FC Kahuna as a name to watch.

Signed to 2002's label of the year City Rockers, the duo again found themselves as leading lights of a breaking genre, only to see City Rockers crash and burn almost before they'd started. 12 months on, Azuli have picked up their baton as the boys continue their own style of electro, house and general eclecticism for the new mix CD. Funky, mixed (where appropriate) and oozing with energy, Another Fine Mess is very much a dance CD, though very much of its own style. FC Kahuna remain ones to watch.
