Darren Emerson is better known to the uninitiated as "that DJ guy from Underworld". Little do those people know that he is actually one of the worlds finest DJ's, and with this, his second GU mix CD, he is set to prove his talents to the world. Most compilation albums these days are a mixture of identical big tunes slapped together on a computer. On GU 020 Darren tacks the listener on a musical voyage of past club hits like Ramirez's Hablando and underground tracks that rock the floor, to his own remixes of well known songs like The Man With The Red Face and Spaced Invader. Disc one delves into areas of techno and house, where as disc two simply stated is pure funkiness. The GU series is definitely one at the forefront of dance music with this being their best release in ages.
