As the lines become further blurred between genres, Bass Kleph has become a rising star in the wobbly-bass, off beat, twisted tech/electro world of fidget or wonk or squirm or whatever they call it!
With artists such as The Count of Monte Cristal, Sinden, Stupid Fresh, Lee Mortimer, Twocker and DJ Fame leading the Fidget House movement, this wonky new genre is packing dance floors all over the world, and Bass Kleph's new label Vacation Records is all about bringing the freshest Australian talent to that worldwide stage! The spearhead in this talent pool would surely have to be fRew. As Vacation Records wunderkind, fRew has remixed and co-produced with such names as The Shopliftas, Tommy Trash, and N'fa from 1200 Techniques.
All the fun kicks off from 11pm as Bass Kleph and fRew bring the mad jackin' sound to Syrup on Saturday 6 September. Tickets are $15+bf and are available at Ruffcut Records and online via www.syrupclub.com
