The University of Tasmania School of Pharmacy is currently running the Tasmanian arm of a national study designed to monitor trends in party drug use and markets across Australia.
Very little is known about ecstasy and other party drugs used in Hobart, and this information is crucial to support health services putting the right harm reduction strategies in place to help people who use party drugs stay healthy and safe.
The School of Pharmacy is looking to interview people who regularly use ecstasy. The interview asks about the drugs that you have used recently, their price purity, and the positive and negative things associated with their use. Interviews are completely confidential, the School of Pharmacy does not record names, and there is now way people could be identified from their answers. The interviews take about 45 minutes, can be done wherever is convenient for participants plus participants will be reimbursed $30 for their time.
If you are interested in participating you can contact the research team on 62262174, by SMS on 0419250034 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
